This approval-first social media scheduler template keeps an agent useful without giving it unchecked publishing authority. Claude drafts the week, shows the plan, and waits for your explicit approval before it creates any scheduled job.
Most social media approval tools add a review screen inside a scheduling app. This template puts the same approval process into your agent: nothing is scheduled until you approve it, and a scheduled job can still be canceled before it is dispatched.
What you build
You get an agent workflow for drafting captions, choosing valid slots, and booking approved posts across Instagram and X. The workflow checks allowance and platform rules, then returns the scheduled jobs with their live status.
How it works
- Read the content brief, connected accounts, and remaining allowance.
- Draft the posts and proposed schedule.
- Show the full plan and wait for explicit approval.
- Create one scheduled publishing job per approved post with
requestedPublishAtandclientRequestId. - List the jobs and continue polling their statuses.
Before you paste the prompt
- Connect the InvisibleAPI MCP server and the Instagram or X accounts you want to use.
- Prepare a content brief and the rules for posting windows, spacing, and account rotation.
- Decide who can approve the final schedule.
Start from this template
Paste the prompt into Claude and connect the InvisibleAPI MCP server. Keep the approval requirement in the prompt and in your application permissions so a draft can never silently become a publish job. Instagram jobs publish through the Instagram posting API. Before you approve, check each caption in the social media post preview. If your team does not need an approval step, see the internal Instagram publishing tool template.
